Once again, Christmas appears to have snuck up on us. Before the bubbly starts flowing and the wrapping of impossibly-shaped presents begins, here are 5 phone system tips to keep you covered over Christmas. Mince pies are optional.
1. Set your phone system time controls
Who doesn’t love a bank holiday, especially at Christmas? While you’re off enjoying time with friends and family, or shopping the sales, you might want to set your phone system to reflect your open hours – sending calls to a voicemail or announcement that lets callers know when you’re open again.
The public holidays this Christmas and New Year are on 26th and 27th December, and 2nd January.

2. Get some Christmas cheer going with a festive announcement
Spread some joy to your callers by uploading an announcement to your system. Let them know your opening hours over the festive period so they know how and when they can get hold of you.

3. Consider business continuity
Whether you’re all hands on deck, or shutting up shop until the New Year, it’s still important to give your customers a point of contact.
