Using this knowledge, our expert team are able to hand-pick the correct tariff for your business. This ensures that you are given the best value tariff that incorporates all your business needs.
What happens if your usage changes? No problem; as your needs change, your tariff also changes – we’ll be sure to keep an eye on your account to ensure you always get the best deal.
We are able protect your lines and numbers with a fraud monitoring service that detects unusual activity on your lines and alerts the Nomis Support Desk for clarification and escalation. We can also set billing limits at which your numbers will automatically cut off, pending your permission to re-connect.

Dedicated VoIP broadband
For businesses using our hosted VoIP, we recommend our ‘Assured’ dedicated VoIP broadband to ensure you receive the highest quality calls. It is also the most secure and cost effective way of operating your hosted business comms.

For areas that have poorer broadband speeds, the Nomis Support team can set QoS (Quality of Service) rules on your router. These rules dictate how the router prioritises data, meaning that voice packets can be prioritised over data packets to ensure top voice quality.
Traditional line rental
For systems that operate over traditional analogue or ISDN lines, we offer line rental over BT lines. There is a cost advantage with Nomis Connections – our line rental cost is lower to that of BT directly.
These are charged per line and are typically set at a User:Line ratio of 3:1, but uncontended lines offering a 1:1 ratio are available for businesses that receive high numbers of calls.
SIP Trunk line rental
Also known as VoIP lines, SIP trunks are used in IP telephony to carry outbound calls directed through your IP PBX off your high speed business broadband or dedicated leased line onto the public telephone network and vice versa.
This service provides flawless call quality and a technologically advanced business phone system.
Nomis Connections provides SIP Trunk line rental as part of a business telecoms solution for businesses using IP PBX switchboards.
These lines can be provisioned in less than 24 hours and can be increased or decreased at any time, once again in less than 24 hours.
You can choose from a range of numbers to place on these lines.
Like traditional line rental, SIP Trunk line rental is charged per line. A typical User:Line ratio of 3:1 is applied, however uncontended 1:1 lines are available for call centres and other companies that deal with large inbound and outbound call quantities.
